How was your Christmas? I hope you had a wonderful time celebrating with your friends and family. Today I have a quick review on HASK Chia Seed Oil Shampoo and Conditioner I’d received last month. After a few uses, I want to share my thoughts about this product to you my lovely readers. If you’re looking for some new haircare products with a reasonable price and high quality, you should give this brand a try.

As you know, Chia seeds are packed with proteins, antioxidants, calcium and nutrients. These little seeds are well known in the health and wellness industry. You can go online and type chia seed recipes to find a lot of menus from breakfast, snacks to dinner. I was so surprised at first that HASK had come up with this Chia seed oil collection. I’ve never thought about it before, It’s such a brilliant idea. Because, it isn’t your body that only needs some healthy nutrients, your hair too needs some super food.

My first impression of these HASK Chia Seed Oil Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner were the scents. I’m so in love with the scent. They smell so amazing and last for a long time. I love the fact that this HASK collection has Chia Seed Oil as their main ingredient. 

My hair has gotten more shine after the first use. Which makes me wonder what was in this set of shampoo and conditioner. One of the ingredient in Chai seeds are omega-3 oils that help to enhance shine in your hair. My hair feels amazing! Less frizz and I can feel more volume too.

New Year’s Eve Party Outfit Ideas | Holiday Fashion

Hello there my loves! 

It is a little chilly here in Arizona. But no snow yet! I’m talking about the snow on the mountains because we rarely have snowfall on the ground. It melted down before it hit the floor. But hopefully this year we will have some snow falling on the ground at least one day that’s what i amassing for. I kind of envy a little bit to see a lot of people’s pictures on Instagram with white snow in the background. I know you’re properly asking “Are you sure you want snow?” Well, I wasn’t born in a country where we have snow, for this reason that’s why my answer is yes. Like I said before maybe just only for a couple of days. I don’t want to freeze my tooshy off. LOL!

My real first experience touching and feeling snow was when my boyfriend (who’s now my amazing husband) proposed to me on the mountain. It was two exciting things at once which created such a wonderful memory. 

To add a little more love to the season, today I’m showing you my New Year’s Eve Dating outfit idea. This outfit is not mean for the snow. But if you’re looking to celebrate your New Year somewhere romantic, like going to a hotel and celebrating in a cozy lounge, or going to a fancy restaurant. This look is perfect for somewhere warm, cozy and of course indoor parties. 

I’m pairing a velvet romper with a woven coat from forever 21 and because the length of the romper is short enough, it’s perfect to wear it with the over the knee boots. This look is by far my favorite and my husband’s favorite also. We’re still planning our New Year’s Eve. Somewhere cozy and romantic for sure! We don’t know where yet but at least I have an idea on what to wear.

Yes, it’s finally time to bring that glitter out hibernation because this post is about NYE makeup. I love NYE! It’s one of the only nights of the year that the dress code is ‘go crazy’. To make this look perfect for NYE I used the two fundamentals of dramatic makeup: black and glitter.

It can be hard to compete with all the beautifully executed makeup looks at every turn on NYE. Especially if, like me, you’re no makeup expert. So, I’m here to present to you this SUPER easy but still super dramatic makeup look that hopefully you’ll love to wear to your party of choice on NYE.

My Products:

  • Naked palette ‘creep’

  • Naked palette ‘virgin’

  • KIKO High Pigment Wet and Dry Eyeshadow Shade 44

  • NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in ‘London’

  • BareMinerals Original Foundation (my shade is fairly light)

Remember it’s not essential to buy all the products for this look. Obviously, for it to look EXACTLY like mine the best option would be to have the same products as me. However, you can always substitute for similar products you already have at home to create a look that’s just as good!

So, let’s get started!

  1. Apply primer across the whole face including eyelids.

  2. Apply foundation evenly across face and cover up any blemishes using concealer (I use a little BareMinerals with a tiny drop of water, it’s good I promise).

  3. Start with a flat brush and apply ‘Creep’ to the whole lid.

  4. Take the KIKO powder with a fluffy brush, blend into the crease and right up to the brow bone.

  5. With a smaller brush apply a little virgin right under the brow and at the outer corner of the eye.

  6. Apply winged eyeliner.

  7. Trace the top line of the eyeliner with the silver glitter.

  8. Apply mascara and false eyelashes.

  9. Taking a large fluffy brush apply bronzer in a circular motion to the top of the forehead, bringing it down to the temples, cheekbones and finally the jawbone.

  10. Use the London lip cream on the lips.

  11. VOILA!

A whole NYE look in ten steps… I told you it was super easy.

The holidays are coming and making plans is just as stressful as figuring out what to wear. Depending on where you live, it could be chilly on the most celebrated night of the year. It might not be practical or comfortable to wear a dress that evening. Especially if you are going to a bar that will be packed like a can of sardines. That’s why you should consider wearing pants and a blazer. You can be comfortable and still be stylish. Velvet is the BIGGEST trend and it comes in all forms. As well as this Tahari ASL blazer. If you are feeling extra festive, you could pair it with velvet pants. I went with a simpler look in black dress pants. To achieve a sexier look, you could switch out my Banana Republic blouse for a silk cami (or bra if you’re adventurous). To give this outfit some color I am wearing these burgundy French Connection oxfords and Mac lipstick in Diva. I’m also wearing Calvin Klein fishnet socks to add an extra textural element. Save time and stress by copying this look. That way you can plan a night you’ll never forget.

One thing that I love the most about New Year’s Eve are the fireworks. I think that night has the most fireworks at once of all the holidays. It’s all the beautiful bright colors and designs that the fireworks display into the dark night’s sky that makes you even more excited about the upcoming year.

As you know, New Year’s Eve events are all about sparkles and shiny design, so one of today’s outfit items I picked is a fashion item that will help sparkle the party a bit. I picked up this oversized sequined design tee featuring a “Forever Or Never” graphic on the front from Forever 21. If you’re going on a date night, this out will be perfect. Just to give your date a hint “Forever or Never”, I hope he will pick the right choice.

I’m wearing this tee underneath a V-cut neckline slip dress. This will tone down the boldness of the tee with a swing style silhouette. You want to be fun and adorable at the same time, right! Not to mention the available space for you to add more food in your tummy! This outfit is perfect for both food and fun!

I can’t let only my shirt sparks on this night that’s why I’ve picked the patent transparent heel ankle boots to add some more shine to this outfit. These boots are so comfortable and the transparent heels are really adding fun to the whole look. 

Also I don’t really like carry a big bag with me to the party so I choose my Mini Eartha Crossbody to go with this outfit.
