I think it might be a good idea to share with you my inspiration behind my newly renovated guest bedroom/ in-home studio before I show you the entire room.
Read on to see some beautiful imagery that inspired me to re-do this room.
“I listened to the voice of my home then started to turn my sweet old home into the person she wanted to become.”
If you have been following me for a while, you might already know that growing up, I didn’t have my own bedroom. So when my husband and I bought our first home, I wanted a room for me, a place where I can be creative, work, rest, and feel relaxed at the same time.
We fixed up one of the bedrooms and made it my office, but now we turned it into our daughter’s bedroom and moved my computer out in the living room. I technically don’t have my office anymore, so we decided to renovate the guest bedroom and turned it to be my studio.
I spent a lot of time creating content in this room since it was about 70% complete. Now I have been taking pictures in there every day. You will soon see a lot of what I created in the upcoming posts.
Last week, I showed you one section of my guest bedroom, the closet, and I got a lot of interest in that post. So I thought it might be a good idea to share with you my inspiration behind it before I am going to take you on a tour of my newly renovated guest bedroom/ in-home studio.
Every time I start a new project, I first have to work on my mood board. As Pinterest has always been a go-to source for inspiration for me for so many years, I spend a lot of time collecting some inspirational images and pin it to my board before I start the project.
For this guest bedroom renovation mood board, I picked images that represent nature, calm, and relaxation. I love neutral, and earth tone elements and accents, and the theme of this room is in between Bohemian, French, and Scandinavian style, I have to say. It also has a feeling of mid-century, modern, and minimal all in this room.
Alright, below are a set of images that inspired me to renovate this room.
This is a sneak-peek of a few decor pieces in the room.

I hope you liked seeing the pretty imageries above. As soon as I get all of the furniture I ordered and put them in the right places, I will put together a blog post showing you the complete look of my room.
Thank you for stopping by All About Good Vibes.
If you haven’t seen my closet yet, feel free to check it out and let me know what you think in the comments.
Stay safe and healthy, and see you again in my next post.
Hi! May I ask you about the Picasso book – where did you get it, author etc so I can try to find it? 🙂 Thanks!
Hi Celina!
There are two Picasso books in this post, they are not mine but I found the name of the books for you here:
1) Picasso: From the Ballets to Drama 1917-1926 and
2) Picasso. Translated From The French By Mary Chamot. By CASSOU, Jean (1897-1986)
You can find both of them on amazon or just search the names on Google and they should come up.
🙂
