New Year’s Eve Party Lookbook

The new year is coming and I am super excited for all the new adventures that all of us will face. A lot has changed for me since the beginning of the year and I know a lot has changed for you too. No matter how tough or smooth the year went for you, now it’s time to get ready to celebrate the new year and the new you.

If you’re blaming yourself for what you couldn’t achieve this year, please stop, and move forward. Forget about the past and embrace and enjoy the moment you have, shall we?

Either you’re planning to celebrate your New Year’s Eve at home or going out and about, I’m putting together a “New Year’s Eve Party Lookbook” for both ladies and gentlemen here on the blog today.

Our family will be hanging out at our house this year, watch a movie or two and watch some firework shows if we could make it to midnight. Lol! Like I mentioned above that a lot has changed (in a good way!) and I’m super pregnant with a toddler, celebrating at my own home is always a good idea. But forget about what we’re going to do, let’s talk about you.

If you’re going to attend a fun NYE party, you need to get your outfit ready as soon as possible. You don’t want to ruin your fun night and stress out over your outfit that you don’t have or don’t love.

Gentleman Guide

For gentleman, I recommend checking out The Black Tux. They’re an online suit and tuxedo rentals, starting at $95—plus, free delivery and returns both ways.

They make their suits and tuxedos from natural fabrics like merino wool, because it looks better, feels more comfortable, and is breathable.

My husband’s outfit, from head to toe, is from The Black Tux . I picked out the Leopard Velvet Jacket Tuxedo, along with this cool Black Turtleneck Sweater for him.

Lady Guide

For you lady, you can pick either a sequin, satin, velvet or metallic fabric, to help sparkle your night. You can wear a dress, jumpsuits or a matching blazer set or dress, it’s totally your choice. Just make sure your outfit has beautiful texture or bling to it. You are going to want a night with sparkling pictures to keep afterwards. Go all out and put your bling on.

What I’m wearing is a rose gold sequin maxi dress with a white knit sweater inside. I added silver accessories like these statement chandelier earrings, glitter pumps and a cute rhinestone clutch to complete my NYE look.

Oh, baby, it will be cold outside, so be sure to bring your coat or jacket with you as well.
