LAST MINUTE HOLIDAY OUTFIT IDEAS
Is it a good idea to add ruffle detail pieces to your Fall/ Winter closet? Yes, it is! Only one thing you have to look out for is the appropriate fabric for the colder weather. Even though you might have seen a lot of ruffles during Spring/ Summer but there’re no strict rules that you have to wear ruffles only in that time of the year.
What’s so great about ruffles are that it can make your look extra fun, flirty, sweet, feminine and stylish at the same time.
In today’s post, I’m wearing this pastel purple check with ruffle cuffs sweater from Nasty Gal. I really love the color, pattern and the ruffle cuffs but too bad this sweater is already out of stock. I have linked some cute ruffle sweaters for you below in case you’re looking for one.
I’m wearing my sweater over my purple midi dress. My bag is complimentary from Ella McHugh. For shoes, I go for my old leopard print heels in pink, here are the same style heelsas mine but they’re in brown. Adding a holiday texture like these pretty burgundy velvet socks to complete my look. I have linked some colorful leopard shoes for you below.
DAY THREE OF #GOODVIBESGIFTING
Get to know me: Are you a perfectionist? I have to say that I used to be 101% perfectionist, now I decrease it to 75% I would say. 🙂 I used to wait for everything to be perfect and ready before I started any project. Or I would wait until my project was completely perfect before I called it finished. Over the years, I have learned that I shouldn’t wait or waste my time before I decide to do something. Time is so valuable and it will pass by so quickly. I felt like I was in my teen years yesterday and today I’m already in my 3o’s. I can’t waste my time anymore. I have to live my life to the fullest and the happiest.
Since I became a mom and having my own family, time goes by even quicker than ever. I know all of you moms out there are feeling the same way as I feel. There are time that I feel stress, tired and want to sit and do nothing, but that means I will waste my time again. Sometimes just to get myself out of the house with no makeup and messy hair was too hard to do. Because I felt like I wasn’t perfect enough to go out. But you know what, who cares? No one really cares and they don’t know what your day was like anyways. So why have that perfectionist fear kept me in the house and loose the opportunity to get a cup of coffee or even just breath in the fresh air.
I started living my life by the “Nobody is Perfect” mentality and my life has been a lot more simple and easy to live. Whatever I want to do, I will do it right away so I don’t miss the opportunity or keep forgetting to do them.
Like starting this blog, I was so afraid to start at first. I thought of so many names, how to design a blog, what I was going to say because English is not my first language. I was thinking and planning to have my blog live for so many months. I published my first blog in Mid June of 2016, almost a year after I gave birth to my first daughter. Just to think about it, I don’t know why I waited for so long to do it. I must have missed a lot of opportunities during those months. Oh, well but I’m here now.
My first blog post didn’t even look good. I didn’t know what I was doing and when I compare that to all of my recent posts, I feel I’m getting a lot better but I still have some room to develop. I know, that the perfectionist is coming back to me again! Lol! 😉 But I have my content out to share with you anyways. I don’t want to miss the time to connect with you and start building our relationship. Who knows, we might meet each other one day! If I wait for everything to be perfect, my blog might have never been on the internet today.
My thought for you today is that time will help you develop your skills, make you feel more comfortable and confident. Life is so simple, don’t make things complicated and overwhelm yourself. Time is valuable, so please don’t let time go by because you want to be ready or to be perfect. You will learn and develop the second you start doing. No, you don’t need to be perfect at the beginning but trust me, you will get better and better and in the end everything will be perfect in your eyes.

LAST MINUTE HOLIDAY OUTFIT IDEAS
In today’s post, I want to talk about another tip I find helpful during the holidays if you don’t already know what to wear. Yesterday we were talking about wearing red to match with the holiday season. Today I want to bring this classy tip up to share with you, on how to liven up your Holiday look.
This is an easy peasy tip that you can do right away. Picking a neutral colored long coat and putting on will be a very quick fix to add that classy feel into your holiday look.
You could add green, gold, or red to bring the holiday spirit on.
I’m wearing my old long wool coat I got years ago from Forever21. I’m linking a few similar ones, here, here and here. My red sock boots are from Zara (similar ones here and here), my red baret and handbag are from Amazon.
We took this photoshoot last weekend and I was 32 weeks pregnant exact. My husband and I LOVE spending our working hours during the weekends together especially after finishing our photoshoot. Just to drive home in a car together just the two of us, it feels so amazing every time.
Thanks to our moms who watched our baby while we were working on creating content for you.
DAY TWO OF #GOODVIBESGIFTING
Get to know me: If you were one of my childhood friends, you would have known that I don’t look like how I look today. Not because I was older but because I used to have an underbite jaw, and I didn’t feel I was beautiful enough.
I went to my dentist and she told me to wait until I turned 20 to be able to do a jaw surgery, at that time I was 13 years old. My dentist and her surgeon team wanted to make sure my jaw wouldn’t come out again and they didn’t want me to go through surgery twice. I found myself crying often at night as I didn’t want to wait for that long to look and feel pretty.
Time passed and that day finally arrived. I got my jaw fixed but now my nose was super flat and big. Still, I didn’t love how I looked but thank God my jaw is normal like other people finally. That time I was in collage and I worked part time as an M.C. and exhibition model where I needed to submit photos for auditions. I remembered my cousin who worked with this advertising company telling me that one of the casting agents commented that I didn’t look like in the picture. I didn’t know what part of my body he commented but I was so upset and heartbroken to hear. At least I got the job though!
That moment got me to think about my other weakness which was my nose. With that comment I went to the plastic surgeon and booked my nose surgery the next day. I didn’t even think about the recovery time as I got booked for a jobs that would begin in 5 days. I went on a meeting 3 days before the event and had to wear sunglasses to cover my puffy face.
I know this doesn’t make sense to others but I think I had so many self-confidence issues. I never showed it to other people that I wasn’t confident in my own skin even though that was how I felt. Funny enough, I had so many boys chasing me around since I was in Middle School. Lol!
I think it was because of my good heart, sweet, fun and sassy personality and how positively I look at life. Which makes people around me feel comfortable and feel loved. Whoever comments on how I look now, I really don’t take it for granted because I love who I am.
Now I look at myself and always say to myself, Wow! I’m so Beautiful both inside and out!
My thoughts for you today is to not be afraid to change yourself for the better. Either taking care of your skin, exercise often, or other things that will make you happy about yourself now.
In the end, everyone will look the same. Our skin will be saggy and wrinkled! We will get old but that doesn’t mean you have to wait for that day to arrive and stay unhappy about yourself. Do something that will make you happy and don’t bother about what others’ think anymore.
You don’t need to be like others, know your value, know what you like, know who you are and love yourself. That’s the most important thing. No one will love you unless you start loving yourself first.

Last Minute Holiday Outfit Ideas
Red is always a good pop of color for the holiday season. If you don’t know what to wear for your holiday party, picking red is always a good idea. In today’s post, we took this photoshoot during our Japan trip. Our family decided to visit Harajuku and I heard about this famous street since I was 13 years old. I was quite excited to finally to go see. But the shoot was not at Harajuku though, it’s right after we took the metro at Omotesando subway station. We walked along the high-end street where Gucci, Prada, Chanel and other name brands you could think of are located. It was early in morning so there weren’t a lot of people walking around.
I was 27 weeks pregnant at that time and it was hilarious to dress up, walked along the road and then had Braxton Hicks contractions at the same time.
My husband and I were planning to get a channel card case for me, as a reminder that we visited Japan and as my Anniversary present. But as I did a some research about the price, here was not such a good place to buy high-end items. The prices are a lot higher than in the States.
Overall I had so much fun taking picture along the way walking to my dream shopping street, Harajuku. I just had to work before I could start shopping! 🙂
Get to know me: To think about one of grateful thing that happen to me in my life, I would have to bring up this story to share with you. I grew up in a family of a single mother. My mother worked 7 days a week as a teacher and tutor until the day she retired. She really never had a day off, maybe during Thai New Year and that was about 3 days a year, that was the time she didn’t have to work. She barely made it through each month to support here kids which included my brother, my sister and myself.
Sometimes we barely had enough money to just buy some eggs and share for dinner. Strange thing was that I never acted or felt like I didn’t have enough. Because in my heart I always knew that I have my mother, my brother and my sister. My family is all I need.
All of the hardship our family went through since I was little, had made me feel so strong, and so grateful to have the life I live today. I never give up on my dream, I never stoped dreaming, neither stoped learning.
This might sound funny, but I am so happy that my life wasn’t as smooth as others. One thing that helped me keep going when it came to some hard time, is to compare my bad situations, to what my mother had to go through to help support our family, which were (will be) incomparable.
In conclusion, I am so very grateful that I was born in a family that cherish love and support, not money or objects. I grew up with love, understanding and my my siblings and I never envy others’ lives. I’m loving my life and who I am now as much as my life and who I was then.

The new year is coming and I am super excited for all the new adventures that all of us will face. A lot has changed for me since the beginning of the year and I know a lot has changed for you too. No matter how tough or smooth the year went for you, now it’s time to get ready to celebrate the new year and the new you.

Holiday Cardigans
My husband took these photos of me in front of the hotel we stayed in Tokyo, Japan. We were staying in a business district, not a busy tourist area, and we loved it a lot. You might be able to notice from the photos of businessmen/women walking to work.
We woke up around 3:30 a.m. because of the jet lag and by the time we were ready to go, it was around 7 a.m. or so. It was our day two there so we decided to explore the area around where we stayed a little bit and had some breakfast at one of the restaurants.
What impressed me the most that day was at the restaurant. We had to pick our food and pay for it at a vending machine located in front of the restaurant. The machine then printed out our ticket order and we had to give that ticket to the cook. We waited a few minutes and the cooked then called us up when our order was ready. It was a really cool experience.
After we finished breakfast, we headed back to the hotel and I did a lot of holiday photo shoots around the hotel area. You can check out all of my holiday outfits I posted to get some ideas for this holiday season.
